Cups of Love

I’m giving out free cups of love today.
poured fresh, steaming, soul-deep.
If your cup is empty, baby, take a sip.
Let it touch the places you forgot were thirsty.
If your cup is full, don’t hold it tight.
spill some into somebody else’s hands,
let it run over, let it ripple,
let it move like blessing in motion.
’Cause you...
you are love in a walking body.
You are deserving of every drop you give away
and every drop that finds its way back home to you.
So pause.
Breathe.
Let love wash over you like warm rain
on a day you didn’t know you needed cleansing.
Love is always here,
but sometimes we bolt the door,
close the blinds,
pretend we don’t hear the knock.
But look
right outside your window,
love is tapping like,
“Hey… you still in there?”
Why?
Because to see love,
you gotta be love.
To feel love,
you gotta free love.
So today,
be the love you want to witness.
Be the love you want reflected back.
Be the love that shifts the room
just by walking in.
Be the love.
Be the love.
Be the love.
